The Ani-Mazing Suspender Skirt by Little Lizard King was recently released and we are so happy to show you our version!
My daughter has been wanting something made with this Boston Terrier fabric for months now. We found it at Spoonflower. It’s a bit pricey…
But how can I say no?
Gunther (our Boston Terrier) was more interested in the cat outside~
Oh and speaking of cats! I made this little cutie too.
The Boston Terrier face was my own modification. I just found a picture, printed, and traced it. I’ve included a template for you to use. I would suggest laying/measuring it on your skirt band before cutting and sewing your fabric pieces together. You can follow the directions in the pattern for sewing the ears and you would use the same method for the mouth/nose piece on my template.
This is such a fun skirt and with a little imagination you can create so much! If your little one is not into the animal faces you can always go for a plain front, add buttons or ruffles. Here are some other options available with this pattern:
Skirt Type: Gathered or Pleated
Skirt Details: Inseam Pockets, Button Down Front Skirt or Plain Front
Aren’t those shoes adorable? Sadly they only go up to size 10, and my baby girl is wearing an 11 =(
We’re headed to Disneyland this weekend for the Halloween festivities. I have a Mini Mouse version all planned out. You may want to come back so you can see all the cuteness. =)
Thank you Little Lizard King for this fabulous skirt pattern!
Till next time~
